QFT. I canīt really see how calling the turn goes together with not pushing the river.

Baluga Theorem shows clear fold on the turn here.

As played, this looks entirely like either a straight or lower set. I think folding is without a doubt the correct play here, but I don't know if I would be able to.

I don't think I could just call this. You hit the best possible card in the deck for you. If he has 67 rebuy and move on, but there are alot of hands he would do this with. 99,88,33,55,98,67

Board: 3c 9s 8s 5h Kd

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 43.243% 43.24% 00.00% 16 0.00 { 99-88, 55, 33, 98s, 76s, 98o, 76o }
Hand 1: 56.757% 56.76% 00.00% 21 0.00 { KhKs }

You are ahead of his Range. If you just called I don't think it would have been a bad no push, but I think that Push>Call here.

Haha, I read board incorrectly, did not see river as K. Still, it remains that I'd want to fold but end up calling.

[/ QUOTE ]it appears you did read it correct since you said "lower set". Just admit you're stupid and move on.

I think this is right. You probably cannot put a guy with such a ridiculosuly low AF on a 2pair hand. It must be a set or better.

Meaing: You could still have the odds to call vs. 2pr, because of reverse outs (i. e. counterfeiting), but I don^t think you have them here.
