Default Recording poker sessions - best practice?

Hi

I have tried Camtasia and EasyScreenRecorder (I think that was the name) in the past.

I have never managed to get a good result with any of them. It has slowed down my computer considerably, and always led to huge files with my comments (from microphone) out of sync.

I want to record 1600x1200 at 6fps with my comments from a microphone, and then encode it using divx or xvid in a reasonable quality. I know the encoding might take quite some time, but as long as I do not have to interact, I can live with that.

I know I am not the first guy with these requirements, and I know I am not the first to struggle with these issues.

So - does anybody know of any guides, best practices etc, that can tell me what to do - and not to do?

Just tried out Camtasia again... After 30 minutes, the sound I recorded is off by around 15 seconds. I comment why I fold a hand - but the hand has not even been dealt yet.
