50nl, turn trips on safe looking board
This was villains first hand at the table so I have no reads. I would fold preflop to a larger raise. On to the hand.. do you fold to the flop raise? After the turn what hand can I put him on with that small bet and whats your move? Is this a spot where I should be looking for a cheap showdown at this point?

Re: 50nl, turn trips on safe looking board
Just fold preflop to the BB's raise. The raise size doesn't really matter that much, the problem is that you have a self-trap hand, i.e. your reverse implied odds are horrible.
Really, what are you hoping to hit with this hand? Anything besides a broadway rainbow straight, and you could get yourself in big trouble (which actually looks like it happened in the hand in question). If it were suited, I'd generally call, but then I would instafold to the flop raise as played. |

You have TP, shove over his flop raise!
Seriously though, what he said.. |

Re: 50nl, turn trips on safe looking board
That board is only safe-looking for AK, which is probably exactly what one of these guys has. Fold preflop, fold to the check-raise on the flop. On the turn... I donno. I might shove here. Looks like he has aces by now.
