[/ QUOTE ]Hi Yeti - That got me to laughing. Thanks for the laugh!

Regarding Assani: He has been a fairly regular contributor to the Omaha-8 forum and I have a positive feeling about him.

He is a very polite poster on the Omaha-8 forum. And many, if not most, of his posts are loaded with content. I consider him an asset to the Omaha-8 forum. I'm surprised to hear that he's a problem to you.

when assani was a regular mtt poster under the name jvwdcw, i was all for him (this was like over 2 years ago)

since then, he posts no more good mtt strategy and posts crap like onslaughts and this:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...umber=10408782

i have no plans to defend him anymore.

That thread was loved by many - virtually everyone who posted in it. I guess I just realized I have different tastes in what I enjoy than some of you. It's all good. Please just stop this talk of banning him unless there's a clear violation of T&C.

EDIT: it's also pretty LOL that you guys are looking to toss an established poker pro who posts under his real name and contributes to OT forums in (IMO) a positive way while you let tools like Vyse roam free. Who, by the way, recently got piled on in an NBA thread for among other things basically challenging tdarko to a fight (if you're not aware of tdarko this is both stupid in principle and obvious trolling of one of 2+2's best posters).

OK, my bad. Ban away. I didn't mean to get your goat durron. Besides, I've heard you're more "into" sheep.

Tuq,

daryn's 100% correct when he says that Assani is a clever troll. Yeah, he makes some good if not clearly insane posts, but he also does a ton of stuff to call attention to himself and ruin threads. While I can't really make a case for a permaban, I think a good slap on the wrist would be a fantastic start.

clever trolling? really? I like how the definition of trolling has changed to anyone who posts in a way I don't like.

And since when is calling attention to yourself a bannable offense? If this is the case we're gonna have to ban all of BBV and half of the mods on 2+2.

Also, Assani asked that I post here to ask why no one actually ever told him a reason why he was banned until he heard it from me on AIM. (no I did not mention who banned him, just why he was banned and let him know it wasnt me considering he might think this seeing how he was banned for posts he made in sports and all).

Just to add my $.02, I agree he's a really annoying poster, but he hasn't done anything banworthy.
