i'm sick of this '105'994 and counting' crap.
its basically just trolling as he is doing it in every post and as far as i can see continues to ignore anyone who questions wtf he is doing. i sent him a PM kindly asking him to stop it. he seems to have ignored it and has continued his retarded posts in sporting events if his next OOT post contains it i'm banning him. discuss

He's not breaking any rules. Just consider it a signature, like Big Steve's old (and annoying) Living Laughing Loving, and like Jim Kuhn's card suits. Pretty easy to ignore; I don't like Assani at all but this is the least of his offenses to the forum.

[/ QUOTE ] Please provide clear examples of threads that he trolled in OOT, or an OOT rule which states that posters cannot have signatures. Otherwise this is a pretty clear violation of one of only two rules you need to follow. You're banning a guy for something that you got annoyed at because of his posts in sports. His last post in OOT was at 11:16, you started this thread at 2:52, which makes me think his last post in OOT was before your warning. So you can't say you banned him for that either. So please provide proof as to your ban reasoning being within your jurisdiction or I believe there is a pretty clear case for you to be demodded as stated in the "Specific rules for Moderators" thread. edit to add: You posting your ban of assani in the sports forum backs this all up. link

he read my PM and then immediately went and made a bunch more posts in sporting events containing his 'signature'. he is just an annoying troll man. if you like just consider it an overdue ban on the annoying crap in his last 10+ posts in OOT in the last 48 hours. no, there is no rule against signatures, but there is a pretty clear rule against being a retard. and yeah i posted the ban in sporting events because i knew it would get a laugh. no one seems to like him but you. sorry.

and no i am not claiming the 'overdue' thing was the reason i banned him. only to just tell yourself that if it helps.
as i said, i was itching to ban him at the very sight of his next signature in OOT, which judging by his posting in sporting events today was inevitable. it was merely the encouragement and agreement in this thread which made me do it now, as opposed to sometime tonight. plus like dynasty said, a time out on a sunday night teaches him a nice little lesson.
