Hand 1: I really dont get ur minraise und the turn. It cant be for value, so i guess ur bluffing. But i'm not quite getting, which hands you're trying to take him off.
Maybe someone might care to explain that to me.

Hand 2:
Just curious, which hands bluffraises u on the river and doesnt bet the turn, if he planned to float u. Did u convince urself to call, cuz u bet so small to induce a bluff? I guess i like to c/c river, if villain is floating often.

i like hand 1 because if he flopped a set its going to be tough to get away from so you'll pay him off anyways, but its a very drawey board that he's likely to be raising with. We can get some real value from flush and straight draws.

Hand 2, i have no idea wtf you're doing. Fine until river, but river is just terrible.

These are pretty ugly unless you have some really specific reads.

Hand 1 I much prefer to 3bet flop then make this one of those times to wait and see if a turn card is safe before investing. Often it isn't and you fold or it is and you lose action. The fact that you didn't lose action on the blank makes me very wary about my holding.

Hand 2 I have no idea what you are trying to do on the river. Enlighten me please. Seems like a blocking bet that realized he was too priced in to call when raised and spewed all over himself, his computer and throughout the hallway on his way to the bathroom.

Simple Green works best yo.

I think hand 1 is ok.
Hand 2, what hands will he check back on the turn that value raise the river? I def vb the river like you did and I also find it hard to fold the river lol but I am a station

The thought process in #2 is along the lines of, I'm finding it really difficult to put him on a hand that just calls preflop, just calls the flop, checks behind on the turn and then value raises the river. I thought most of his range was pairs up to QQ when he calls on the flop but checks on the turn, so I made a small bet that didnt make me look very strong; but at the same time he cant really call it with say 1010, so he has to shove to win the pot. There's still enough money left behind for me to fold

1.) call flop, c/f turn.

2.) c/f river, as played fold to the raise.
