If he's going to get all his money in on later streets with pretty much any hand, doing anything other than check-calling is pretty gross. You only have K-high.

What about the fact that I have a pretty big equity edge over his range?

[/ QUOTE ]

By the river, you'll have a much bigger edge, or you'll be able to fold.

So:

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero checks, villian bets $7.5, Hero calls

Turn: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] or any brick

Hero checks, villain bets $22.5, Hero calls??

[/ QUOTE ]

If he's going to get a lot of money in on the river, yeah.

Getting it in shouldn't be much of a problem with this one. BTW, he just logged off, and my PT shows he dumped 11 buy-ins. I won 3 of them

Against this guy, B3BAI or c/rAI on the flop or calling down are probably both fine. You have the most equity for the draw on the flop, so no problem getting it AI there, or getting a fold. You have 12 outs to the nuts, so you do have the odds to call a PSB on both flop and turn.

If you have no FE with a flop AI, and he'll pay off if you hit the river, it might be better to c/c, c/c/ then c/f or c/rAI. If he'll check behind on the river or fold if you lead the river, then getting it AI on the flop might be best.

Against a bona fide maniac who won't stop firing regardless, I like to go floppy here - call down to win the max when I hit and lose the least when I miss.

Anyone reraise this guy pf? My hand is probably the best. Personally, I'm not real comfortable reraising pf here.
