Default Aces facing Agression

Villain is 18/ 1/2.5 over several hundered hands. Have witnessed no craziness. Anyone get more aggro once we're raised?

I don't mind the flop bet being small because he is unlikely to make the mistake of calling a bigger bet.

Everyone likes calling this guy down?

I don't like this line at all maybe I'm wrong though. A bigger flop bet makes him less likely to get cute and make a move which means a check raise would mean more. You could flat that and reevaluate turn. And by reevaluate I mean fold and take a note if he leads. I see no evidence that suggests you're ahead on this flop

There is only 1 worse hand I put this guy on after the flop c/r. I know we end up getting great odds, but I think it was flushing money down the drain.

So you just fold aces with continuing aggression unless you have reason to believe dude is a dork?

No, repopping the flop is fine if you think he might be playing with you. If he calls or raises you can fold. As people have said, a bigger bet on the flop would define your hand more.

But at the end of the day, it's just a pair and I don't want to play a big pot with it, especially on this dry of a board.
