How DID you or your family get filthy rich?
Inspired by the missed opportunities thread. Tell us your stories of the stock you bought at 10% of its current value or the successful internet start-up that made your buddy a millionaire.
From the Finance and Investing forum it's clear that quite a few 2+2ers have done well in the past with investing and money-making. How exactly did you make your fortune or mini-fortune? If you haven't made yours yet, what's your plan? What about your family, friends?

see i consider myself to be a pretty smart guy, and i'm modest, believe me....
i found this very resourceful forum named after a simple addition, and i fell in love with this card game that people play for money, my plan to get rich, get good at this card game..... DUH?
