[ QUOTE ]
So the only real question here is, how many suckers are dumb enough to pay $18 a month for personal development products that they will most likely not follow through with because of their inherent laziness (why else would they be seeking personal development products?) and how many of these suckers can we find and get to sign up.

This is really insightful. No, really, it is. Please post more.

It's worth noting that there's no affiliate tracking in that link. So it's pretty likely it is his site or he's retarded or both.

Websites shouldn't make sound unless you ask them to.

avfletch and badger thank you for your feedback and care.

For everyone else, please do your best to keep this thread focused on critically analyzing the marketing of the website. This is a business message board. I appreciate the concern and attempted discernment, however, the legalities of the website have been safely councelled and unless you too fully understand the laws, it is inappropriate to pass judgement.

The company is considered a multi-level marketing (network marketing) company and is part of a >$30 billion industry in the USA alone (other billion dollar companies in the industry you may recognize are Mary Kay, Avon, Amway, ACN, etc.).

In terms of a need for our products - personal development is a $15 billion industry in the USA. The only difference is we've combined network marketing with personal development and brought our company online to connect with the future economic trends.

The affiliate program exists for the sole purpose to compensate those who voluntarily wish to help our company grow.

I welcome more feedback - both positive and negative.

Thank you for your time and care.

For everyone criticizing the site on the basis of the affiliate program, having an affiliate program is extremely common for membership sites and smart business.

Because it doesn't cost the owner of a membership site any additional money to bring on new members, membership site affiliate programs are often much more lucrative for affiliates than affiliate networks like Clickbank or Commission Junction are.

Some sites make you be a member before you can become an affiliate (more network markety) and some will let you promote without being a member (like more traditional online affiliate models).

I think most people here get it. What we object to is the affiliate program being the focus of the site. A large part of the 'sell' is "sign up and you can promote our site to make money".
