a little self-knowledge/culinary quiz: if you could eat only 10 food ingredients for the rest of your life, what would they be?
note that "ingredients" means elemental ingredients, not foods made from several constituent parts. whole wheat bread, for example, would count as wheat, flour and yeast, 3 ingredients. but on the flip side, you can use any byproduct of the chosen ingredient, so a cow is good for beef, milk, cheese, etc., while a chicken is good for eggs. finally, the limit of 10 includes liquids, but water is a freebie. my 10: 1. salt 2. cow 3. pig 4. grapes 5. tomatoes 6. chinese broccoli 7. coffee beans 8. red chili peppers 9. oranges 10. potatoes |
