Re: We win (AP Scandal v. 27)
ahem....if he was only trying to prove that it could be done, then why frame Scott Tom? And for that matter, why was there any need for chip dumping?
My three year old tells better lies than this. |

This is kinda ridiculous, let's see their proof for this. [/ QUOTE ] BTW, since none will likely will be forthcoming, expect more dramabombs in the near future |

[ QUOTE ] New MSNBC story: [ QUOTE ] The cheater made no attempt to make off with his illegitimate winnings [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] Yeah I guess the huge chip dumping was just to "show it could be done" too. [/ QUOTE ] Beat me to it! I was going to mention he chip dumping as well. What was he trying to prove there? |

[ QUOTE ] I found the thread from the NYT blog by Steve Levitt, and have been very interested. Thanks to Nat and the rest of you for the work you did - unbelievable. I'm a professor at Baylor University and want to contact the Waco Tribune and the Baylor Lariat (Baylor's newspaper) to encourage them to cover this because of TheWacoKid having an affiliation with the school and town, but before I do, I just wanted confirmation that in fact TheWacoKid is Jared Hamby, and not someone else. And can someone say briefly what role he, Nat and anyone else had in bringing this to light. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, TheWacoKid = Jared Hamby. [/ QUOTE ] Jared Hamby AKA "TheWacoKidd" List of his P5 posts. P5 post on the POTRIPPER hand history I'd suggest you PM Nat to get a response on everyone's roles in bringing this to light. |

Re: We win (AP Scandal v. 27)
All,
I just watched the tourney video and skimmed this thread. I think one thing some of you are not considering is maybe that POTRIPPER just has really good "poker sense" which means that he has a good feeling for when people are weak and strong. |

Re: We win (AP Scandal v. 27)
“This is literally a geek trying to prove to senior management that they were wrong and he took it too far,”
AP labeling him as a geek doesn't seem very professional. So the employee was so dedicated to his job and AP that he wanted to show senior management that there was a flaw in their system? No other motives? This doesn't sound believable at all. They seem to have found a nice scapegoat though. |

Wow, I wonder which employee is falling on his sword and how much is he getting paid to do so?
