you are, (it appears to be) mocking me and you don't comprehend my post or that hand, if someone is bad enough to min 3 bet 97o then calling with Q5s is definately justified.

I hate spelling crap like this out

then you made some other condecending comments that nobody should care about

lmao at this thread but I have a question. If I am shortstacking FR then am I doing poker a service by getting spite calls from nits and thus loosening them up?

shortstacking was more fun when i could make 2$/hand in february

shortstacking now is like begging for change on the corner

edit: i think it's funny that 2+ months after i quit shortstacking stinky still needs to validate himself by claiming that his sick math skills make him so much better than everyone else doing something which is mega ultra high variance.

I have seen a TAG 3-bet me with 23s before thus I should 4-bet them with 100% of my range or at least call...

Justifying a mistake with a positive result does not justify anything.

Good thread. Hadn't given ratholers that much of a thought, but thanks OP for giving few things to think about when playing with them.

while i do obviously have sick math skills, they have nothing to do with my success shortstacking. the math for common shortstack situations is easy. doing it all is a lot of tedious work though, so it's really not worth it.

as for the variance, yes, it seems really high when your winrate sucks, but if you're awesome like me it's actually pretty low with respect to winrate. but that's definitely another good reason to stay away from shortstacking. you'll have sick swings if your winrate is low, and it likely will be low to start.

This is a great thread, I think the next thing to do is lets open up our PTs and analyze the ranges and tendencies of the most annoying SSers on the major sites and post them in a single thread. Time to put these cockroaches down once and for all.
