Min raises abound? How to deal
As I climb the buy-in ladder, I see more and more min-raises on my BB. Is this something I should fear or take advantage of? I always thought this was a horrible play since the player is getting 3:1 from the BB off the bat. I have been auto calling with everything here and hoping to bust the douche. Am I right? It seems I see it more and more the higher I go. I'd appreciate some advice. Also, why would I see it more the higher I go. I started at $5 SNG's and am now at $50. Any correlation? Is my strategy correct?

This just proves there are bad players at all levels. How you play against the minraise is dependant on the situation and reads.

But unless you are 100% balls on accuruate he's got an over pair to your hand, you should call regardless right? You are getting 3.5:1 without including pot odds. Then if he does have the big hand, you'll have massive implied odds.

You should still be folding most of the time in a SNG structure where pot odds are much less important. You should be conserving your chips & doing mostly shoving over these raises, not calling. Post specific examples, though.

I often call a wide range when my BB is minraised. Against an UTG minraise at 10/20 my range is basically anything connectedish or suited.
