Possible to xfer PT postgre SQL databases from PC to PC?
Is it feasible to transfer databases across PCs? Basically I want to be able to synchronise laptop and desktop but the dbs are going to be too slow if I use Access.

Do a backup of your Postgre DB on one computer, copy that file to the other, and then restore that file on the other.

Re: Possible to xfer PT postgre SQL databases from PC to PC?
Mmmm, I have a feeling I tried this and had a problem because the name of the database file I was trying to restore was the same as a different database file on the PC I was transferring to, which I wanted to keep and it would overwrite - I guess that's the way to do it just remember to not use the default database names when creating databases.
