I don't get letting the time run out in football? Why just surrender a possession? Surely there are some plays you can call that have a positive expectation?

It's the same logic as if there is an uncalled pass interference. The replay can't create a penalty.

Anyone watching the chargers game able to explain how Williams is called for holding? Those not watching, Williams is locked with the center, the LG comes over and chop blocks him, but Williams is called for holding and no chop block is called.

Eh, I think this might be the case if they weren't getting the ball in the 2nd half. But they are, go into halftime with a lead on the road, that is pretty good.

Now if they weren't getting the ball and had 2 timeouts, I could see Billy B doing something there.

Superman LT has another TD. I've wondered why they haven't run that pitch play to him all year. Puts LT alone 5th all time in TDs.
