check/fold would be my line, chances are your behind vs 2 players here, some drawing hands just made it, your OOP with two bets to come in a small pot, time to give up.

Thanks fractured. Note that one player is an SB completer, so if he has a K my kicker is likely to be ahead of his. And the other guy is a button limper. idk how much credit I should give here.

He shows weakness on the turn by checking, but could also be a trap. i'd place an info bet like $2 and fold if raised.

I was leaning towards ch/f but, it is closer than I first thought. Could very well be a flush draw out there and you're chopping with all the K's except K-9. You could take another stab at this but I'd still ch/f vs 2 opponents. You're likely to get called and then what?

I bet something like 2.25 and they both folded. If I'd been called or raised I was 'done with the hand'.

I was wondering about the whole concept of a bet-fold. It seems slightly dodgy to me... when would you use it? when you might get called by worse hands and when you don't want to induce a bluff? when you want to narrow someone's range? when you went to sometimes fold out better hands (e.g. maybe KJ folds here)?

I'm not sure how many of these reasons are good ones.

This is definately a check/fold hand. In an unraised pot, you can't really know for sure what the limper have, especially the SB and BB.

Even though you won this hand by betting out, don't a habit of it. You could easily get trapped.

In this situation you will either win a small pot or lose a slighter bigger than small pot.

I think bet/folding for like $2 is not bad. A is not actually a bad card, no-one has AK, unlikely they called the flop w/ A high, only thing to worry about is nut flush draw. Also the A solves your kicker problem. You can bet for value vs draws, bluff the chop and probably get away from trips here.
