I was confronted by Botchman last night about transferring $300 from PS to FTP, I sent via PS, and he said he sent via FTP, but it never came.

His profile: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...amp;what=login

...

For what it's worth, he registered over a year ago and has oover 600 posts, hopefully it's just a misunderstanding but I really doubt it.

What a shame.

Be careful 2+2, even the ones that look trustworthy can get frisky.

I know this might be a dumb question, but was the initial contact by 2+2 PM? Not just by instant messaging right?

You still have the 2+2 PM from him?

$25x2 swap with Apefish. Nice guy, easy trade.

PS took about the usual time, FTP a bit longer than normal.

Overall, 15-20 minutes.

FWIW, Botchman has some impressive stats on Sharkscope.

It's unseemly that someone with those numbers would go out of their way for $300.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Please let us know if anything changes.

Yeah, I'm hoping he just typed in the wrong name or something on FTP.. I don't think he'd scam me but I got a few transfers yesterday in a short amount of processing time (5 minutes)

I have no personal knowledge of the situation, but this part would concern me. Why does a Canadian need to be risking transfers on here, unless they're helping someone else out?
