Also, I'd like to mention the change in my bowel movements. It's quite fascinating really. Instead of a once or twice daily liquor and grease induced 5 pound cow flop, I'm now down to these once every couple of days rabbit pellets that I haven't seen in years. There you go.

both are terrible

Yeah, pellets is not healthy and sounds like you're eating too little total and not enough veggies. If you're not taking a vitamin you may well have a shortage; apparently alcohol interferes with vitamin B so maybe something in that pathway got screwed up. But alcohol has so many damaging effects it's hard to guess at the problem.

Aspartame, caffeine, and calorie deficits are all triggers for migraines.

Anyway it's quite possible you did some serious damage to yourself over the years of drinking. I would tell you to see a doctor, but the truth it's highly unlikely you would happen to see one that could help you.

I'd start with cutting out the diet coke though. Asperteme could be giving you trouble, as well as caffiene.

[/ QUOTE ]

/hijack.... i have been battling intense headaches like none other. Can asperteme give you headaches? .....b/c if so then [censored]. i was hoping it was water or lack of sleep....but i have stepped up a bit that department, and the headaches persist. I have already made a huge sacrifice giving up regular coke, not sure i can give up coke 0 yet.

I've been taking a multivitamin most days after dinner. And I'm probably exaggerating my movement's size a bit.
I use this chart as a reference and I'm prolly ok.

Love the chart. I want to get a big copy for my bathroom wall.

Sorry about the headaches, but I think everyone here (yourself included) has helped to steer you in the right direction. Congratulations on the weight loss.

Great job OP, another thing to consider, how much sleep are you getting? If you're drinking a lot of caffine i'm guessing perhaps not as much as you should and sometimes this can be a cause.

OMG, you need to eat more, seriously.

You can't possible describe losing 40 pounds in a month as "not a crash diet", you are starving yourself and the headaches are almost certainly something to do with that.

Losing this much weight in one month is seriously unhealthy, if you keep going on like this, you could die or have a stroke or a heart attack. At the very least it is unlikely that you will be able to keep it off.

The fact you have more energy is your body's natural reaction to a percieved "famine", your body is trying to give you energy so you can go out and hunt a mammoth or something.

Seriously, if you dont believe me, go see a doctor, this is really really bad.
