Default Ball Loft/height

No matter what club I use, Driver-PW I always get a ton of height, I've tried things like teeing up the ball lower, moving the ball in my stance, but nothing seems to help. I am losing a ton of distance from my drives, because of this.

Anybody know why this may be?

can you video a swing or 2 and link to it? well do our best to tear it apart and give you some ideas, off the top of my head, teeing the ball lower is not going to fix your problem, does your ball go to the right?(if you are RH), etc

Three likeliest reasons

1. Your are hitting down on the ball alot, even with your driver. This cause more backspin which will cause the ball to rise. You should be sweeping the ball off the tee with the driver.

or

2. You are scooping the ball at the bottom of your swing. You should be pulling the club down with with arms and keeping that pull down lag angle through impact. If you are right-handed the back of the right hand should be pointing towards the horizon or a little above at impact. If it's pointing towards the ground then you are scooping the club and adding loft.

or

3. You are leaving the club face open at impact, which also adds loft.(And probably scooping it too.)

It's one of those three things or a combination of the last two.

Yes ball goes to the right, I have tried to fix that by putting the ball in the back of my stance, but I lose distance this way and it sure feels awkward.

I'll see if I can get someone to video the swing for analysis.

Not to dismiss the possibility of other swing faults, but I had the above one and had the same results. Check on sweeping, and also whether you're opening the club face immediately when starting your backswing. I still hit balls higher than the average man but fixing the clubface takeaway was a relatively easy fix.

This is one of the main reasons for a lot of golfers from what I have read.

Take your normal stance then take half a step back for driver and 1/4 for irons this should help.

I think you might have a bad "weight distribution" in your swing, and you do not use your big body muscles to difine your swing, but your hands/arms instead.

A video might be needed to analyse correct.

Ok here is a video, sorry about the music it's the only song I have in wma format. I personally think my swing looks like ass, maybe I need longer shafts?
