hope my OP didn't mislead anyone, when i said turn brought flush draw, i meant it put two hearts on board not that i picked up a flush draw.

[/ QUOTE ]

It sort of misled me but I'm just a second rate nit with nothing to contribute at this point so what does it matter.

Degen's Theory: Way too many 2+2ers have moved to LA and started playing in RBK's games. This post is for meta-game and to get action.

That would be sneaky and super smart

ok in hand one this was my thought process:

villian donks turn: any two cards.

i raise flop: hey i have a hand here.

villian 3 bets: ya right dude you will raise here with any two obviously, i can totally blow you off the hand.

me 4 betting: no really i have a full house obv i would never 4 bet bluff.

i was 100% sure villian would fold any K, and also QJ so as long as he didn't have a boat it was gonna work.

[/ QUOTE ]

So according to your logic, his bet will very often be a resteal, but then the fourth bet has to be a full house? Given how the action went, isn't it possible that your range is wider?

Yeah I know blah blah live nits but you (and others responding) say you're capable of making moves. If he's gonna lay down to any raise, why would he have a K or QJ in the first place here? Seems to be the best way for him to lose the lot while you are possibly bluffing.. if a bluff is such a big part of your range, seems kinda silly to raise himself off a hand that might have picked up another bet later. So if he has it, he's not laying it down IMO. Or is this faulty logic?

When I read the hand through the first time I kinda felt that itch to bluff there as well, FWIW.. and in my case, smart villains always pick up on that

Second hand.. well it's a big pot, he needs to fold it like a little over 25% to be worth it right? Hard to say you do or don't have that much FE..

Why are we 3-betting the turn on Hand 1?

[/ QUOTE ]

ummm cuz we're bluffing? hope my OP didn't mislead anyone, when i said turn brought flush draw, i meant it put two hearts on board not that i picked up a flush draw.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, I misread it as though you picked up the flush drw. Just me being dislexic. Thus my statement of, 'hand 1 is for value?...'
