While pretty classless to state it as such, this is likely an unfortunate byproduct of making some rash statements. I doubt it has much to do with him being heavy, although being considered unkempt, possibly. Just goes to show you always gotta watch what you say, as it can come back to bite you, shown in multiple ways this very post. Hopefully, you have learned from your mistakes Jimmy, and I'd assume you have, but hey, if we all had $$$ making decisions in the future based on things we said when we were 18, we'd probably all be unemployed.
Howard's probably just jealous because he hasn't done anything in a tourney in 67362777637 years.

This is genius.

I'd downplay it when asked about it, though. Just say something like, "It's a nickname Howard gave me," or something like that.

That said, Howard's comments are pretty tactless, but honestly not all that horrible. I'm pretty certain worse gets said about me pretty much every day. Most of it is probably true. People are generally polite enough not to say it to my face and/or smart enough not to put it in writing, though.

How worked up would everyone be if Howard had said, "I think we should stay away. He's very young, and his personality isn't very marketable." Same message, just more polite. People are basically tearing Howard a new one for being rude.

Howard represents FTP and is obviously counted on to make good decisions for the pros who join the team. Fact is, Jimmy, as good a player as he is, does come across a little weird on TV. He IS very young, he HAS made some fairly negative statements about other pros, and it's *probably* true that his type of image is not the image FTP wants to promote. So he was just making a fairly reasonable business decision, even though the way he made it was impersonal and insulting.

But the point is, he wasn't saying it to Jimmy and wasn't trying to harm Jimmy. I blame the FT emailer for outing Howard and showing Jimmy an email Jimmy had no business seeing. Believe me, I've said tons of things about people behind their backs that I only said because I knew it wouldn't get back to them. We all have. Doesn't mean we're all scumbags.

The villain here is FTP, with Howard only being a minor accessory.
