anyway, back to the hand, there are only five possible hands that he has

AJ
J8
J7
88
77

I really think that he leads weak or does some kind of weak CR on the flop with AJ, J8. especially J8. as deep as you are, i think that he would want to get more information about what you have. i think he would however, slow play AJ, J7, and 77.

got to be

That being said, i do not see him four betting AJ on the turn, which basically redefines his hand as J7, 77, 88. (remember J8 is eleminated because he would have bet for more info on the flop).

there is no way we are folding, if for some strange crazy reason he has J8, he stacks us, so be it. the two hands that we beat, that he could have, 77 and 88, i dont see him getting away from, especially 88.

A min reraise back to him looks really really strong here, i think he is more likely to call a push.

Yeah I'm curious as to this one myself. Result is irrelevant but would be interesting to know. This is never in 100 million years a fold.

This is obviously a joke/brag post.

Feel kinda sad that y'all fell for it.

Everyone seems to think villian always has a underboat or naked Jack. Can this ever be straight? 910d?

i called the turn. river was a complete blank, i think an os 5. he bet 2k, leaving himself a bit less than 6k behind. um, wtf? 2k into what was almost 13k in the pot already?

i was really thrown off by this weak bet and just called. he reluctantly flipped over 89o.

anyway, turns out i got max value, but that's being results-oriented obviously. nonetheless, i still think flatcalling the turn is best, because most players in live games WILL fold worse hands to an 8k-more push there.

i'm sure he would've folded AJ or a straight to a turn shove, and maybe even 77. (i should've included in the op an earlier hand we played, where i bet-3bet the river all-in on a board of Ad Td 3x, 8x, 8d and he folded the nut flush face-up. so he's capable of making laydowns.) the only hand he would've called with is 88. and of course he folds all bluffs and semibluffs.

river was a shove but i got confused and i'm a wuss as many of you know. and at least i got to see his cards.

U DIDNT SHOVE? AJKLSDFSDJFKDLFD

i wanna ask u guys what u think about this...

when he makes that obvious shiit bet, he does not have a boat and probably not even a hand that can call anything or a marginalish hand... i nkow this is supremely gay but anyone wanna minraise this river for value and call shove duh? nobody plays J8 like that on the river 2k into 13. i think u can be pretty certain u have the best hand.
