Adopt Lee Jones' idea for anonymous sessions. [/ QUOTE ] No offense to Lee, since I am greatly appreciative of what he has done for the game, but I disagree wholeheartedly with this concept. That would be like allowing players to show up at a live game wearing ski masks and jump suits. |

Re: What do you want to see at Stars?
I've read the thread, let me throw in a few comments:
[ QUOTE ] Deal making client for final tables/How about a LIVE FLOOR PERSON present at every final table for deal-making and to possibly spook the collusion teams??? [/ QUOTE ] A live floor person is pretty difficult; for example, yesterday Aug 18, we had 440 MTTs. I'm sure you've all seen what a process the Sunday Million deal can be, and the truth is that those are not complicated just because of the big money involved - most deals are like that. We have always resisted a deal making client as we feel a big "Make a Deal!?" button on the table is too much of a prompt. You don't see a TD at live tourneys walking around telling the players "Do you want to make a deal? Just say so!". [ QUOTE ] crazy pineapple/Badugi/super holdem games/nlhe and plo w/ antes. Also higher antes on the stud games [/ QUOTE ] We've always resisted adding the "flavor of the month" games. It's why we didn't add pineapple back in the day, why we didn't add Chinese, and why we probably won't add Badugi. If you can provide a good analysis of why the stud game antes are too low at some limits, we would definitely consider the argument. [ QUOTE ] A graphic hh (like FT) so I don't have to scroll through a hh to see what the other players had [/ QUOTE ] The HH window has an option called "Show summary only" that will parse out all of the actual HH except for the very end, making it easy to see quickly what your opponent held. [ QUOTE ] Turn the cards up when a player is all-in and there is no more betting [/ QUOTE ] The reason we don't do this is that it serves no real purpose other than to increase drama (and the number of people writing in with bad beat complaints when they get sucked out on). It's also been pointed out many times previously that your average player may be more hesitant to make a poor play if their cards are going to splash face up for everyone to mock. Sure, they're in the HH, and you all know that. They don't. [ QUOTE ] right click on an empty seat---> have an option to move to that seat [/ QUOTE ] This is a little more complicated than it sounds, as you might have to respond to multiple seat change requests at once, and see the table shuffling around every hand. In a live game, you don't see constant moving around simply because of the hassle involved, and the fact that people tend to stay longer at the table meaning fewer open seats. If it was as easy as you suggest, the games could easily become musical chairs. [ QUOTE ] Mac compatibility so I can play at work [/ QUOTE ] There's a beta test version available for play money only right now. [ QUOTE ] I want a feature I can click so that the table sizes I set stay the same so I don't accidentally make one bigger or smaller then go through hell trying to get it back to just the same size so future ones I open are still the same size. [/ QUOTE ] I'd suggest in the short term just re-tile the tables? I've done this as well and never had "hell" fixing it (though I've never been trying to make decisions on all the tables at the same time). [ QUOTE ] bet pot button [/ QUOTE ] Too big a suggestion to people as to how to play well. This one has been rejected many times for many years. [ QUOTE ] why not show pot size in numbers [/ QUOTE ] It's right above the dealer tray. [ QUOTE ] Increase the default buy-in [/ QUOTE ] This was done previously I think. We don't want people to accidentally sit with more than they want to, and they can always add more if they want to. [ QUOTE ] cashier page could still look better [/ QUOTE ] Could you clarify what you suggest? Some of your suggestions that I like and I'll pass along, but I make no promises: [ QUOTE ] 1-click seating [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Auto rebuy/double rebuy for cash games and tournaments [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Being able to set a default buy-in for levels [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] 'Unjoin all waitlist' button [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] 'join all at XXX stakes' button would be nice also [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Don't close the search window [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: What do you want to see at Stars?
to be able to set how much space tables occupy on my desktop when i tile would be great...e.g. i havent got 2 screens but wouldnt the 2(middle) of 6-tables 3*2 be divided in half in such a case?...anyway i d prefer just for a set space to be occupied by the clients' tables so one can work with other apps as well

Re: What do you want to see at Stars?
I have one request that should be very simple. I've emailed support about it and was clearly ignored.
Could you please make some button I can click in options to LOCK the size of my tables. Often when I have a bunch open I accidentally change the size of one and then if I can't figure out it's exact size it screws up the next ones that come open. I've talked to a couple of other people that would like the same thing. Thanks, Ryan |
