need a place to live uiuc aug semester

not having any luck with people I know up there. I am 23 and will be a freshman. I just got out of the army after five years and have my own furniture (bed, couch, bookcase, etc.) I've heard a lot of the apartments are already furnished. If I could find a roommate on 2p2 or you guys could tell me cool places to look that would be great. PM me if any of you want more info.
