I don't even think it's borderline and feel like an idiot for starting the thread. No matter how tasteless and juvenile the thread is, I can't imagine locking it. Jeez I mean we're not even all Americans here; god forbid someone be allowed to express an opinion that is not in line with what we here in the ole USA think. I thought Chump Change's approach was correct.

i agree.. definitely worth talking about. like clearly time since disaster plays a factor, but how much of one? and when is the cutoff? you woudln't post stuff like that the day after the incident, but is a year ok? 2, 5, 10?

also how connected you are to the incident plays a roll. for instance if my parents died in the towers, i'd probably never find anything about those pictures funny for the rest of my life, not because they weren't funny.. just because it would always bring up the feelings i had that day.

as it stands i'm kind of disconnected from the whole incident, thus i can laugh about such jokes years later without a problem.
