I made a comic about the big pot from this episode but can't find a way to paste pictures here. If it is possible I would like to hear it.

Anyway, here it is: http://nl.pokernews.com/poker-forum/topic36009/

Just new here and don't want to mix me in some discussions but feel the need to reply to this post.

I met Jamie in Amsterdam last week and I can tell he is a really nice guy. That is ofcourse not on the tables because I don't know about that (not ready yet for the nose bleed stakes ).

He is a big winning player in some cashgames outside of tv where he gets an invitation. Rich guys want to play him but don;t want to play the big name pro's. He is making some nice profits there he assured me.

Than the first few episodes (not the 500k) he played pretty well if you ask me. The action was idiot but Jamie stood up pretty well besides the fact he should learn to make valuebets on the river instead of always being happy with a showdown.

His tournamentplay is working pretty well and his cashgame is coming there. He was a luckbox in this episode and a spewtard in this and the last episode but he is sitting there instead of our new World Champion who will never be an ambassadeur for poker.

He is signing a new check with an European pokerwebsite for 5million so he has a few new bucks to spew.

In conclusiuon, he is a nice guy with a nice "job" at the moment. He will last some longer I guess.

Btw, can someone explain me how I can post pictures (from my HSP comic)? An IM or link to a thread where it is explained would be helpfull.

He sure sounded like a dick during next weeks promos yelling at Sammy like 4-5 times that he is calling whatever Sammy bets.

"I call Sammy. I CALL! Whatever you're betting, I'm calling. I CALL! I CALL!"

Jamie Gold is a poor player....with poor etiquette....and has an inferiority complex that is raging out of control.

He is such an ass and it boggles my mind how people say otherwise.

[/ QUOTE ] Jamie is a huge douche. If he pulled this on me Id go off on him. Also Guy is so horrible, it sucks hes getting hit in the face with the deck.

He's done this exact same thing before and then not called. Someone will be thinking about betting and Jamie goes into his whole "you know I'm calling, I have to call now, go ahead and bet, I can't fold, I'm definitely calling" and then the guy bets and Jaime folds. So ridiculously low class.

Gold is probably the most annoying luckbox in the history of poker up to this point in time. He is absolutely horrendous. The fact he has not busted out on all these shows repeatedly shows just how much luck is in poker over the short run. I'm sure gold has incurred some big loses in cash games outside of TV though. I just can't see this guy lasting much longer at high stakes given he is so massively -EV.

Thank you for posting this sentiment for the 3000th time.

i haven't watched the episode yet, but it seems like lately Antonio has been acting all "hey, look at me, i'm just a normal, fun-loving guy like the rest of you. yeah, sure i'm Iranian, and the U.S. has made my American Dream more real than it has for even 99% of all Americans, but pleasepleaseplease don't go in and kill my family and friends at home! (i'd have to spend all the money i've won on getting them out before the bombs hit, and i don't really want to have to become "the Iranian Schindler")."

i mean, did anyone see him on the WPT Poker by the Book Chapter II, where he was talking about how Persians are luckier than the rest of the world, except for when it comes to governments and human rights?

u.s policy in the middle east tilts me. probably Esfandiari too.
