Default Re: NFL - Is home team advantage dropping?

How about the AFCs domination of the NFC over the last 3 or 4 years ?

In 2006.......AFC Home Teams were 77-51 60.16%

NFC Home Teams were 59-69 46.09%

In 2006, NFC teams at HOME vs AFC teams were 12-20 37.5%

I have to think this through a little more, but this seems to be the reason why.

Did you guys take into account "home" games played outside of the home stadium? Those might need to be disregarded. New Orleans' games in Texas after Katrina shouldn't count. The game in London and Mexico City shouldn't either. Although this is only a couple games, they could account for some of the differences.
