Re: NL10: Early position with JJ against big re-raise.
Easy fold, there's no need to get invested in a big pot with jacks since you've only got a small amount invested so far. It's too likely that you're a 4:1 dog against aces, kings and queens or running a coin flip against A-K or A-Q (which a bad player will not likely lay down). It's possible he could have Tens or Nines or maybe AJs, but do you really wanna invest almost a whole buy-in to find out? My advice is just take your licks when this happens, and wait for a better spot to make a move.

Re: NL10: Early position with JJ against big re-raise.
Fold. Against a typical unknown you're up against KK+, AK. Even QQ has you in big trouble and AK you're only ~50:50 against. You're not getting odds to try to flop a set since you have to call $2.60 and would need to win a pot of at least 8x that to make a call correct (in practice I play for 10x).

Toss it quickly.
People are really that transparent at NL10. He's got you beat. |

Re: NL10: Early position with JJ against big re-raise.
Well normally I would toss this but this time I didn't. I was wondering what he would have. He doesn't play a lot of hands but re-raises big a lot. I don't know why but I decided to call. Flop came two rags and a jack. I checked, he pushed, I called. If the board did not contain a jack, I would have probably called with the money invested. He had TT.
