Default ICM

Hi all,

Please forgive the inane questions but i had something of a less than stellar education ... dragged up but happy.

Is ICM simply the calculator from programs such as SnGpt?

Do i use it for Level 4 onward only and is it tilted to STT only?

It seems from the basic tinkering i have done from HH from PokerStars and PartyPoker that when near the bubble there are numerous positions whereby ATC (although i do sort of understand the basic principle behind this) are a push. Does this tool in it's simplest form just indicate when i have a positive expectation if i push and am i using this calculation to eventually make a profit from the situations whereby i push with random (although ranked in various tables) cards and get called and lose by better holdings?

I appreciate my questions aren't the most eloquently put but if somebody call reply simply i would be grateful!!

Thanks for your time.

Does the theory work for the final table of any tournament for example when down to the last 5/6 players?
