I 3-bet preflop. I also probably don't be the river so big since I'm not sure there is much he is calling $240 with there. I definitely fold to this raise.

yeh i'd 3-bet pre, but i think $240 on the river is fine, it's probably one of those spots where villain has decided to call any bet you make on the river with his A-x, all draws missed etc and he took such a weak line, i doubt he's folding much. So i like the larger bet size

He can show up with AJ and maybe AQ but theres wayyy more aces you beat than beat you (his pf range is prob all suited aces and A8o+ or something)...so it's an ez bet.

What sort of percentage of the time would you suggest doing this? Is calling ever ok?

Thanks.

Meh, I mix it up pre, 3-betting more often than calling for sure.

If he's ever real tricky, I think there's some chance he's on AA here. You don't have to bet the river, you can happily check it back some % of the time, but bet-folding is fine. You can get away with a smaller bet as well, make it like $140-$170 or something.

having the best hand isn't a great reason to 3bet, we're not tourney donks after all

as played its like a fun game theory spot!

but fold cos ppl arent game theorists, we're all freaking nits at heart, that's why we're not broke and have money - fold yo, no way you're good enough % here
