Hi everyone

Usually don't come on this site, usually just read neverwinpoker. ANyways I must say Mark Seif is getting off this whole thing a bit too easy and I will show you all why. I did some research that might leave him squirming a bit

So on the 11th of Feb 2006, Mark got in this big chat tiff with a bunch of high limit players. One of them was STUCKINPGH who copied and pasted a lot of the chat to neverwinpoker......

http://www.neverwinpoker.com/forums/...howtopic=14438

So then 4 days later Mark is playing again and STUCKINPGH is there. So guess what, Mark is miffed about Stuck posting the last chat and making him look bad. So they get into a big fight about it and Mark is real angry....

http://www.neverwinpoker.com/forums/...howtopic=14644

Now later that same day Mark plays against Stuck heads up. No doubt bad blood between the two! So then that is when Stuck gets ahead of Mark and Mark suddenly says he will take him down, leaves and comes back, and then can't lose a hand....

Notice the dates of all 3 posts, very interesting huh

[/ QUOTE ] If those chat logs are authentic, wow.

Okay I'm very late but trying to catch up ...

Why did AP send 'Marco' that file with all the damning evidence in the first place? Seems like a stupid thing to do.

Nat,

Beers/dinner on me whenever in ATL LMK

Yeah, you might want to do some research before you promise something like this "whenever." Not that it's not a great gesture, just that it could get rather expensive.

There's one incongruity (i think) in the story about the guy who got the $300 credit from steamroller/tom scott.

If you're playing $5/$10, and one of the guys playing with you (he said steamroller was playing like a maniac) reveals himself to be connected enough to know your personal info -- doesn't that immediately raise huge alarms for you? Like, get me and my money off this site now?

Maybe I missed something in the chat log posted that they were playing at a different site or something. Note I'm not trying to shoot holes in the theory, but that's what AP would do if it were to go that far.

care to elaborate on why you feel ap/ub were going to scam you because you were up too much?

[/ QUOTE ]

They seem a tad shady in the dealings I've had with the upper management regarding large sums of money. Though things seemingly improved a great deal 5 or 6 months ago after a great deal of bitching my way up the ladder.

Though they owe me a $200 dinner comp (no joke) that I can not get fixed because the email address of the security VP I had bounced back to me (when I tried to email him regarding this scandal a couple weeks ago). If anyone knows how to contact "Brent" from AP please PM me.

[/ QUOTE ]
I'll preface this by saying I am in catchup mode after getting some sleep and there are pages of posts after this, so someone may have already responded.
Kahn, If you have a bunch of emails about or from this Brent then you need to pass them along to Nat or Adanthar. If Brent is/was in charge of AP security, it could go a long way in learning why AP was slow to get on board with this scandal.

(nvm, I had a question that's been solved already)

Strange thing about that e-mail from Absolute Support: dateline says July 27 2007. Didn't Absolute claim that Scott Tom hadn't had any connections to AP for over a year?

Either STEAMROLLER is not Scott TOm
or the e-mail is a fabrication
or Absolute Poker didn't have its facts straight

Adanthar says he thinks Scott Tom posted as

the watchdog

here. But that account hasn't posted in these AP scandal threads.

(also, Poker Addict apparently believes Scott Tom used the account pokermachine, which last spammed circa June 2007)

[/ QUOTE ]

The Watchdog made a "Who I am and where I have posted" at Casinomeister.

http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/poke...html#post195466

He has made shilly posts for other poker rooms besides AP at CM too. It seems he just knows all these people involved, of course I could be wrong.

another question (gah, it's so hard to keep track of all this stuff): can anyone point me to the link to the picture of the ABSOLUTE e-mail that stated that "steamroller was part of AP staff"? TIA

This has been said over and over, but WOW to all of this. Watching it unfold from the beginning was the best time i've had reading forums since the internet was born!

Good job everyone, keep the pressure up!
