Thanks for the numbers, I'm sure that BB calling with 99 would be at least a $10 mistake, and thats a big mistake in a 27.

what am I missing here? Why would BB come over the top 100% of the time? Just push this, you cant go wrong...

Well, push for sure. But it can go wrong. BB can make a mistake and call the push. That would be bad for BB and OP.

Wow.

First off, if you actually were 100 % sure that the BB is coming over the top everytime you just flat call then you should flat call with intention of insta-calling him when he moves in as 10 10 is well ahead of his range obviously. Not sure why noone has mentioned this yet unless I'm missing something.

HOWEVER, the reality is he ain't coming over the top without at least QQ here, or at least he shouldn't be. This is really a simple hand where you should be pushing any 2 regardless of what they are.

Hogwash...things can always go bad...this is a push. No discussion necessary...more interesting if BB had more chips and OP less....given these stacks its not that much of a discussion.

got here a little late, but this is the most standard, orthodox, customary, garden variety push ever. i would push any two here without a second thought. everyone besides SB should be folding without AA and maybe KK.

[ QUOTE ]

If I call in this situation I'm 100% certain that the big blind will come over the top of me (as he probably should) so this leaves me with folding, pushing or raising.

[/ QUOTE ] Your thinking here is wrong headed. You have a very strong hand and it merits a raise at the worst. In reality this is a very clear push. Yo uhave all other players covered, have a powerhouse hand 4 handed, etc.

Why does this thread have more than two replies?

Thanks guys, I did end up pushing and the CO & BB folded as expected and the SB disappeared into the night.
