Rika, "(p.s. this goes for tons of pokersites but NOT pokerstars, that's why I'm so thankful they insured our money at a legit bank, A+ job stars, way to be a step above everyone else)" While I have no reason to doubt PokerStars claims on this issue, pretty much any poker site can claim they do this. And even if they actually do, there's probably nothing to stop them from accessing that money. [/ QUOTE ]i beleive stars uses the bank of scotland. so it would be a lot more difficult for any shenanagins to occur than say with APs financial service providers. |

Re: AP, rigged, etc. #8981.4 - there was no superuser account
two reason why i think absolute havent lost that many players.
1.I think alot of people go in there to look if they have lost any players,I do, so they get great numbers from that. 2.reload bonuses. but they will loose in the long run,the day they stop there reload bonuses they are doomed.thats the only reason the one who still plays there kepp playing there. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] They don't write the hand to the log server until the hand is completed. ... Someone with real time access to the log server should be able to see hole cards as they are dealt. So... [/ QUOTE ] You're logic is flawed. [/ QUOTE ] as is your english [/ QUOTE ] Ha! I hate when I see that mistake. Can't believe I made it. Nice catch. |

Re: AP, rigged, etc. #8981.4 - the plot thickens
what happened with the hand histories from Sief? After this much time I would imagine any release from AP would be useless since they had more then enough time to go over these with a fine comb...

not sure if this has been posted but Nat did a good interview on the new Joe siebok / Barry Greenstein site...
http://www.pokerroad.com/_/big_poker_sundays/ Also, can we get a new complete cliffnotes with the next new thread? I don't think most people have the time to dig through all the new posts everyday to find the one or two new gems and nice to be able to quickly reference if any new info has become public... |

Re: AP, rigged, etc. #8981.4 - the plot thickens
There's the main problem with Mark Seif's HH right there: It's now so late that not everyone will trust it hasn't been tampered with.
While I don't think this is the case at all (surely AP would just have said 'it's gone' if there were dodgy dealings), they are leaving themselves wide open to the accusation. If I were Mark Seif I'd be spitting blood over this. I also find it amazing that AP hasn't even issued a DENIAL about the $10k charity fraud yet either, let alone an explanation. Has anyone reported it? |

Re: AP, rigged, etc. #8981.4 - the plot thickens
So AP is refunding the $530 tournament on 8/18 that was won by POTROAST. This account had been speculated about on these forums but there was never any concrete evidence to my knowledge. I wonder if they will discover more tournaments, as this one was a full month prior to the originally reported cheating.
