November Goals!!!

1) Play at least 10 sessions of poker as I work my way up the ladder. I hope to find myself playing $3/6 by then, but I'm not making that a goal (variance is not under my control).
2) Come up with something intelligent to post for my 6k post (which is coming up fast).
3) Have 50 pages of TeXed up Ph.D. thesis.

Did well with most of my Oct goals, and feel like I made some good progress re. cleaning up my game. Hope to carry the momentum into Nov.

Tentative plan is to shoot for platinum status at Stars. There's some stuff in the FPP store I'm interested in, and points accrue at a surprisingly attractive clip now that they've changed the 6-max rate. Going after supernova would probably result in a disaster of epic proportions, but platinum should be within reach after having comfortably finished this month off at gold.

Easing back into playing more hands, but I'd prefer to keep things well within my comfort zone until I feel that some of the progress I've made re. tilt-limitation has stuck. Changing deeply ingrained parts one's personality is hard work. For now I'm all about being satisfied with baby steps.

You should have no problem getting to Platinum. I one table SNGs and it took me < 2 weeks to go from nothing to 20k. As for Supernova....that will have to wait for next year. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
