Shoving is so much better than check calling, its not even close. Orange summed it up pretty well.

why are you double barelling an unknown on an ace high flop.
on the river, i doubt you can valuebet, and i also doubt that someone will bet w/o a straight at least

were you planning on three barreling if your set or straight didn't come in?

No reason to give up the lead, shove is good.

your line looks so so strong (3 barrel allin), that you only get called if he s got the straight IMO.....

with checking you can gain a little extra value if he :

- decides to bluff/valuebet lesser hand (the last is unlikely though)

- also you can minimize your loss if he makes a smallish valuebet on the river with a straight

also i think if you decide to bet i would make it 70$ish , so at least you will gain value from 2pair hands

I double barrelled as a sort of semi bluff. I would have c/f a K river.

why a K river, and why not a J or a Q river?

standard river shove, I don't see how he can have a 9 here that often (or a 4 for that matter) unless it's specifically Ax that hit a straight. I think this is pair of aces or two pair, neither of which is betting for you.
