Default Help with phone

I recently purchased the blackberry 8830:

Heres the problem though, I dropped it last night getting out of my car and it got all scratched up. Now I think this wouldn't normally be a problem if it was on the screen because there are a lot of products to remove those types of scratches. Mine are above the screen and on the sides and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with something like this? If so what did you use to remove them, I know its not really that big of a deal but I would like to try and remove them if possible.

Just to be clear, are you saying you would rather have dropped your phone and scratched the screen instead of scratching the plastic casing?

I would prefer neither but isn't it easier to remove scratches from the screen (as long as they aren't huge)?
I should also add that the scratches are about the size of one these: _

I really don't know. I know there are lots of "scratch" remover" products but I've never used them and I'm skeptical about how well they work. It just strikes me as odd to prefer a scratch on a clear surface that you depend on seeing through rather than a structural surface with little aesthetic function.

I understand what you mean, I said that because after a quick Google search all the products I saw were to remove scratches from screens not the actual plastic or metal of the phone case.
