The only bet I can make at this point is to go all-in. There's no reason to to put anyone on a higher pocket pair or even really an 8, but who knows. What's your play here? |

I think pushing is fine here. I can't see anyone limp-calling with JJ+, so you are probably up against a bunch of overcards or smaller pocket pairs. The pot is large enough that a push will be less than a pot-sized bet, so I would shove it in here. The only hands that I can see villians having that are ahead are A8 and 33, but I think you might get looked up by 55-99 and occasionally AK/AQ, which gives you some value in pushing - plus the pot is huge.

I think a shove is fine - don't think your opponents have 33 or 8x enough to make it a bad play.
And you'll still get calls sometimes by smaller pocket pairs. |

Re: PS $5.50 - TT OOP with a bunch of callers, raggy flop
I'll assume we want to end this here and now and don't care about getting more out of the hand as I would be happy with that result. Shove. C/R all-in will give any better odds to call whatever is left over so that's out. Any other bet pot commits us.... so it's either fold or shove.
I don't know if your prf raise was big enough with 3 limpers already. 1500 into 3000 to call for the 1st limper and then it spirals. and you're OOP... I know it wasn't your question... just saying is all. |

Post Flop
As played I think a shove is probably the most optimal play. Pre Flop. Have you any read on UTG limp here. Is it standard or out of line ? Does he limp call raises ? With that in mind I would either complete and reevaluate the flop or re-raise to t2500/shove. |

You shove, they fold and will think twice about not respecting your preflop raise the next time

Re: PS $5.50 - TT OOP with a bunch of callers, raggy flop
No read on anyone. Was moved to this table shortly before this hand.
I can definitely see the logic of a bigger raise. M's were so low that I thought there was no way I'd get more than one call with a 6 BB raise, but surprise surprise, no one folded. 2500 sounds about right given that there are a lot of flops I don't want to see and I'm OOP. Though, completion also makes total sense. There needs to be fold equity for a big raise to make sense, and I'm not sure if there's enough in this stage of the donkament. Results, called by 84s and I get no help. Oh well. |
