Default Revisiting the SUPERNOVA ELITE problem.

So I'm planning on increasing the # of hands/week via more tables and more hours.

I'm on pace for 500,000FPP already.

I really got to thinking about what having SNE achieves for Stars. It is simply out of reach for almost everybody. Furthermore, those who CAN get there were probably going to get there anyways.

It has been discussed before that many believe it would have been smarter for Stars to change the program such that it encourages many to play more.

I am very well aware of the milestone bonuses and I think they are awesome. The problem is, however, that anything beyond a certain milestone is simply unnattainable for many. In other words perhaps they are too spread out?

I wonder if Stars has any plans to change the program for next year.

That is why is is called supernova ELITE. They have no plans to change this next year except for a supernova extreme elite at 2,000,000

There are alot of things stars could do to improve this, but they wont because they dont need to.

I would suggest to increase the FPP earn to 4.0x at 500,000. It wont be a huge cost differnce for stars, but it would encourage lots of players to hit at least 500k by years end.

I have no evidence of this, but I overheard a stars employee at the PCA say that supernova elite was originally created for Elky.

I am really unlikley to make it to SNE.

If the title was SuperDuperNova instead of SuperNova Elite I would probably be able to suck it up and play enough to make it.

Value for reaching 500K $14,000
Value for reaching 750K $21,500
Value for reaching 1M $47,500

These are bonuses outside of standard value of earned FPPs.
