Re: Review: Winning in Tough Hold \'em Games by Stox/Zobags
On page 250 there is an error.
"Even against a raiser who is under the gun at a ten-handed table (who's range is 88+, AJo+, ATs+, and KQs = 7.4 percent of hands), ace-trey suited has 35.9 percent equity." Ignoring for a moment the fact that "who's" should be "whose," A3s actually only has 32.4% equity against that range, which is well below the 35% guideline that is recommended in the Blind Defense section of the book. |

Did you know that or were you looking for errors? [/ QUOTE ] I did not know the exact equity of A3s against the range given off the top of my head but would have bet a pretty penny that it was less than 35.9 percent, so I checked. |

Does it matter or are you looking for trouble? [/ QUOTE ] It was offtopic, I was curious how much innate feel for equity some players have. |

Stox, I flipped around the first few pages, then found the "Hands with Stox" section and immediately devoured it along with the quizzes.
Any chance you'll be releasing a "workbook" of sorts composed primarily of "Hands with Stox" and quizzes? The insight you provide is simply invaluable. |

[ QUOTE ] Fourth: i still have no confidence in the bindings of these books. [/ QUOTE ] Then I suggest you form your own publishing company and do a better job. [/ QUOTE ] Typical arrogant response. The binding on the Harrington books are just plain bad. Go into any bookstore and look at them on the shelves. They look like crap. It's either because they start falling apart even when shoppers are browsing, or they've all been returned. It's not like it's a matter of opinion. All the other books on the shelves got it better, somehow. |

When I snap my fingers, you'll run to the computer and start typing. SNAP! Go, go, go! |
