Default Sweet 4-8 Commerce game, 99 overpair on the turn

It's a 9 handed $4-$8 game at the Commerce, loose passive as always:

I raise UTG+3 with 99 after two limpers. CO and Btn cold call, BB calls as wells as the limpers.

Flop: 3 4 5r (6 players, 12.5 sb)

BB bets out. It's his first hand, he is young and seems to have moved from a bigger game juging by his yellow chips.

UTG calls. He is as loose as it gets, as passive as it gets, both pre and post flop. He would cling on 22 on a multiway AKT87 board and show it down.

One fold, and I raise. Folded to the BB who now three bets, UTG calls and I call.

The turn is a 4, no flush draw:

Turn: 3 4 5 4 (3 players, 11 bb)

BB now checks, UTG checks, what would you do?

If there's interest, I'll post the rest of the hand as well.

Tough spot, but I think I bet here and take a free showdown if possible. If he c/r's me I think I find a fold here.

It is hard to believe that we are WB when they both check the turn.

BB's flop 3-bet could just be an attempt to shut out the third player or a draw. Sometimes you will be c/raised but I believe there is too much value here not to bet. Giving a free card with this board can't be right.

Smells like 35 in bb or maybe an open ended str draw. If he's really weak, he flopped the str8 but turtled to the board pair. Of course could be could have boated up a set or two pair and is hoping to trap.

Bet/fold or bet/call/call. I dont mind the investment of the bets if he c/r just to see how he played. Two outs aint much but at least your live to all but 1 hand.

That's what I thought just before I bet:

I bet the turn, BB check-raises, UTG 3bets (he'd never even c/red during the past 3 hours, let alone check-3bet), I folded.

ok, thanks guys

Edit: Just to say that BB called and called again on the river. SB had 34 for the full house, BB mucked.

you must bet here. the pot is big and your hand is vulnerable to so many overcards.
