Default NL25 AA against gambler who´s trying to push me off of my hands

Ok, this is the first time in 60,000 hands or so that I got cute with AA. That´s because of this specific villain: he came to gamble. Once I noticed, I startet to fight back, like calling his bets all the way to the showdown with my QQ with a K-high flop (I won). However, I really got few cards I could continue with postflop, even given my read, and he saw me fold quite a lot.
Villain has noticed that, and he is trying to push me off of my hands. He is in literally any hand I play, and he is always aggressive (more than against the other players, and he doesn´t see all the flops against them).

My specific read is that bets on all streets up to ~20BB mean absolutely nothing, while the only big (50 BB) river bet (in like 40 hands or so) was a strong hand - but is a big bet always a strong hand? He will definitely bet a lot more hands than he will call with.

Now isn´t that a perfect opportunity to let him hang himself? But then again, any kind of, say, strange two-pair would be possible, as he has been caught playing like 84o. But then again he´s trying to push me off.

Is my play ok, given the circumstance?

So, here goes.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($29.05)
UTG+1 ($15)
MP1 ($31.90)
MP2 ($32.55)
CO ($60.80)
Button ($24)
SB ($21.65)
Hero ($25.40)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
2 folds, MP1 calls $0.25, MP2 calls $0.25, 2 folds, SB completes, Hero raises to $1.7, MP1 calls $1.45, MP2 folds, SB folds.

Flop: ($3.90) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets $1.5, Hero calls $1.50.

Turn: ($6.90) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets $3.25, Hero calls $3.25.

River: ($13.40) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets $13.25, Hero calls $13.25.

Now this is more or less what I asked for, but I am not so sure anymore wether or not I shall like it. I assume this is KT+ enough to call?

Final Pot: $39.90

Looks good to me, I think the flop is actually good for you. Of course he could have a nine, but with a pair on the board some weird two pairs are no longer a threat for you. Only thing I do different: c/rai on the river. You only have like 6 left and after you slowplayed that hand I would at least like to have full value in case he got stuff like KJ, KQ, QQ or something completely strange.

I was thinking the same...get it all in there on the river.

No, they were a bit smaller, and he had nothing. Only bet of so far that had the size of his present river bet was a strong real hand (but ~40 hands really isn´t that much, so who knows).

I like it. a 9 is really the only thing you have to worry about. Let this guy hang himself.

Thanks to you all! It´s hard not to loose confidence in my own play when these gamblers always win. He had 87 for a straight.

Sklansky says poker is gambling, thus I would assume poker players are gamblers.

Good spot, bad result. Keep feeding em rope and they'll eventually give it all to you.
