Default Question about the biggest POT in cash game history

I once saw on TV during one of the PPT events, that Jennifer Harman has won the biggest pot in poker history during a cash game (around 1.7 million $ in 1 hand). Does anyone know what game she played and what happened exactly in that hand?

Edited ( thx to MoolahMuerte for the correction ).

I actually asked her about this a while ago when she was playing 2/4 limit with us at FTP - i think you may have the decimal off one place - it was about 1.7 million from what i remember - i asked her "did she catch a bluff?" she replied "I had the nuts". Ive never heard of 17 million in a single hand - but Ivey did take 16.6 million from andy beal in one session - according to reports.

Thanks for the reply moolah, but does anyone know the way this hand was actually played? I would like to know how the other person put around 850K in this pot if jennifer was holding the nuts.

She probably won an 8.5 big bet pot against Beal when they played 100k/200k

Going from memory and I don't remember the turn betting but Harman had K-Q on a flop of A-J-10 and Beal kept raising her. You'd think that he would've stopped trying to bet her off her hand after a while but, no. That brought the pot close to the 1.7mil. As I said I don't remember the turn betting but the river paired the board. I also don't remember whether or not she bet the river but we all know she didn't have a heart attack and die on the spot like I would've if the board paired on me with that much action/money in the pot.

From the book " Aces & Kings " : Andy Beal got AQ, & Jennifer got KQ. I don't remember the limit but they are playing LHE. Flop is 9TJ & the good Andy decide : " That's the hand I semi-bluff the most I can on both the flop & the river ". The bluff didn't work, & the "semi" neither.

I don't play heads up or anywhere near those stakes, but as long as they played it seems like at some point they would have had a pot larger than 8.5 BB.
