Fish at higher level
I play 50nl 5max (ongame skin) with a roll around 2k. Whilst looking at the 100nl tables i noticed a few of the fish iv got marked from 50nl playing 100nl. Is it worth taking shots at these tables with a fish and 3 unknown players? Iv refrained uptill now but im tempted.

Re: Fish at higher level
You're rolled for 100nl. Taking a shot at a soft game there wouldn't hurt you at all.

Re: Fish at higher level
I thought 25-30 buyins was reccommended for 100nl. Anyway your right im going to take a shot next chance. If i take a hit so be it.

Re: Fish at higher level
20 buyins is sort of the minimum you wanna go with. Your bankroll can handle a shot no problem, especially if you're playing people that you've normall been successful against.

Re: Fish at higher level
I would encourage you to start taking shots at 20 buyins. Look for softer games, but take shots regardless.

pretty much the perfect time to take the shot...anytime I've taken shots (live or online), it was with a yummy table.

Re: Fish at higher level
If your edge is high your bankroll requirements are going to be a little less, but generally at 20 BI you should at least recognize that you're under-bankrolled more often than not.
If you're not a pro depending on your bankroll to survive, it's really not that big a deal though. |
