Ugh... standard. "The customer is always wrong" seems to be their motto.

The software is pretty though... when it doesn't crash.

LOL. "We screwed up, and you got screwed, and we are not going to fix it."

My favorite part is the "if there is anything else we can do for you just let us know." Like what, kick my dog?

Apparently, the purpose of the e-mail is just to rub your nose in the fact that they will treat your money however they damn well please. I can't believe that this is the way that anyone with a brain or a title at FTP would want this situation handled.

Your email probably just gets sent back to the person who originally answered you, and they've made their minds up (even though their position is ridiculous).

Just send another email with the same info clearly asking to be escalated to a Supervisor/Manager. For sure they will cover your fees unless they have no business sense at all.

Hello Steve,

Your case was brought to my attention by one of our community contacts
for the 2+2 internet forum.

Having reviewed your case I agree that you should not incur fees for an
error on our part here at Full Tilt Poker. I can see that you have
already redeposited $2500 of the funds to your account.

Simply email us once you have completed $5000 in deposits or once you
have finished depositing whatever funds you are comfortable with. We
will then ensure that your MGR is not negatively affected by this
situation, or we will credit your Full Tilt Poker account with the
amount debited from your rakeback payments.

On behalf of Full Tilt Poker, I wish you the best of luck at the tables.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact
us.

Regards,

Eric

The exact same thing happened to me- twice. I requested checks and they sent the money to my click2pay account, even though they know full well that click2pay doesn't trasnfer $$ to peoples' bank accounts in the US anymore. So I nicely told them the mistake, and I had to call up click2pay using INTERNATIONAL PHONE RATES, then click2pay sent my money to my Full Tilt account and I asked Full Tilt once again for a check. Full Tilt proceded to send it right back to click2pay!

At this point I was pulling my hair out, but I tried once again, got click2pay to send it back to Full Tilt and sent Full Tilt yet another e-mail saying something like 10 different times, in big block letters, "PLEASE DO NOT SEND THIS TO CLICK2PAY FOR A THIRD TIME- PLEASE SEND ME A CHECK."

At this point, I guess Full Tilt realized they had no plausible deniability (they really didn't have it after the first time) so they did send me a check. It was obvious at the time that this could not be a mistake and they were hoping I'd just give up and keep playing. This post here just gives me more confirmation. Full Tilt is a great place to watch the pros play, but at this point you'd have to be an idiot to keep putting money in there. It's clear they are a scam network when it comes to paying people their money. Maybe not the pros and other valued customers- they play there for a reason. But they will screw the little guy-though I played a lot of $2/4 NL so I'm not all THAT little.
