Another funny thing is live players think because you are tight preflop that when you actually see a flop and bet that you must have the goods. The concept of tight-aggressive is beyond them. So, if you play tight, but then raise and only get one caller (yeah, pretty rare), definitely continuation bet, as they will automatically put you on a monster a lot of times. Now, once they call the continuation bet, they're pretty much not folding their pair, so don't bother two-barrel bluffing.

As far as the limping suited connectors in early position, it's pretty table-dependent. Obviously, if either not many preflop raises are happening or when they are 5 people call them, then you'll be fine. Every once in a while you'll get a couple of other guys like yourself at the table that really know what they're doing and you get raised often enough that you have to avoid putting yourself in those spots. The default, in my opinion, should be to limp them until the table gives you a reason not to.

from my experience, live play has a lot less FE than usual, so i'm not going to be leveling anyone unless i know he is capable of folding,

also i'm not going to iso raise as much with hands like 97s from LP when there are weak limpers, instead i'm gonna limp, because i feel they are willing to play a big pot with marginal hands anyways so i don't have to worry about not getting action (which takes away enough to play limped pots IP IMO)

I am also going to be bluffing a lot less and a lot less c-bets, because people <3 2PNK,

I'll give my incomplete summary of sunday-monday. Kind of long, so my apologies in advance.

Its like 6:30am and running on no sleep so it's not really well composed. Anyways, it started out I met up with The Machine at the 1/2 tables. We were playing at the same table as DCHZ, but we actually didnt know him or that he was 2+2.

First impressions of The Machine were that he was a complete luckbox. Actually, he doomswitched me 4 times consecutively. There was a shortstack who had like 35 dollars to my immediate right. This guy started pushing anytime there was a straddled pot or multiple limpers. The first time he pushed, The Machine said "Good Luck" after I made the call.

I assume he is talking to me, because he is sitting to my immediate left. I tell him TY bro. He then informs me that he was wishing luck to the short stack. He wishes luck to the short stack 3 times in a row when I call his pushes. Every time I am outflopped or something completely ridiculous happens, and I double him up three times in a row.

Finally the next time this happens I have KK. I open raise. One or two callers maybe, and what a suprise, short stack shoves again. I re-raise, and everyone else folds. The Machine wishes him luck again, and no sooner do the words leave his mouth does he flip over American Airlines.

At this point I start telling The Machine what a douche he was for doomswitching me 4 times in a row. JK btw, TM is a really nice guy fwiw

At the end of the first table break, we somehow establish that someone else is 2+2 at our table, and we meet DCHZ.

From there, we learn its a 2+2 night at foxwoods, bc there was like 7 other guys playing that late on a Sunday. Mostly limi-donks, but everyones really cool just the same

We meet BigBadBabar, JJH3984, Professor Ben, and Diana Ross Fan. I feel like we met someone else, but I have the worst memory. Everyone decides we are meeting up tomorrow for some drunken mixed 2/4 games, and dinner probably. So yeah, I ended up playing from 10pm - 11am sunday into Anyways, I leave maybe up 30 bucks from being card dead throughout most of the night, and obv I got raked. On the way out I see Prof. Ben racking up like 1600 in redbirds from his limit session. Nh sir

My car starts to crap out on the way home. The overdrive off light on my ford contour (im busto) is flashing repeatedly. My car will not go over 55 MPH, and it makes a weird revving noise when I try to go to 60mph. I am pretty sure that its a sign that my transmission is going to die.

I am supposed to head down to meet up with the Machine at foxwoods with Al Money (al busto) and my friend and fellow 2+2er Mike Macintosh on tuesday. Both of them bailed out on me, and I realize that if I want to head to foxwoods I am going to have to take a risk of my car crapping out.

The genius that I am, I decide its a good idea because its only a 40 minute drive from my house. I have a good chance of making it back and forth ok. Lady luck is on my side, and my car does not vomit fumes or commit suicide.

Theres a seat at DCHZ's table, so I take it bc I have position on him and hes a huge station
We see a few hands together. First hand I have QJ, it was raised PF to 12 or 14. I call the raise bc DCHZ opened up, and also bc there is an old man w/ like 1000 behind him who hates to fold. Flop comes J98, all diamonds (i think). DCHZ leads for 20 or 25. I have the queen of diamonds. I call, figuring grandpa will come along for the ride. He decides to make it 80 or something.

I see DCHZ pause, then shove relatively quickly for the rest of his stack. I fold obviously bc I didn't belong in the hand at this point. Grandpa insta-calls and flips over the flopped straight. Lucky DCHZ's set improves to a full house. Ship it crucial.

Other pot is DCHZ opening to 12 (which he does a lot). I call w/ AQ (I should have 3bet, im on the button, but im terrible). The flop comes 532, 2 spades. I have the Ace of Spades. I am pretty sure DCHZ didn't hit that flop. He leads for 20 or so. I think about re-raising, but decide to call and see the turn. Turn is a 7, another spade. He checks to me, and I check behind expert. River is another spade, giving me the nut flush. DCHZ checks to me, and I value bet for 25 or so. He calls and shows 87 of spades. Ship it ty gg etc...

Anyways, all of the previous mentioned 2+2ers meet up for dinner after playing 2 1/2 hours of poker. We all go to Hard Rock cafe. We get a table in the back, and start talking about CC roulette. Most everyone thinks its not a good idea. They decide against Wampum Card roulette as well, so we all end up paying our seperate ways.

After dinner we got a 2/4 HORSE limit game set up. For the record, I am absolutely terrible at limit, and clearly the <>< at the table. I bought in for about 120. DCHZ, Babar and Prof. Ben buy like 20 racks of yellow chips between the three of them. Overall, I was definetly embarassed bc there were quite a few holdem rounds where I got taken to value town on multiple streets.

We make a rule that the first person that scoops a pot in Omaha 8/b has to go the front desk and page "Rick Astley, you have a friend waiting for you at table 28". LOL. So I obviously scooped the first pot. We rick rolled foxwoods lolol. Professor Ben and I start doing the Rick Astley Dance as I make my walk back to the table
There were a lot of hilarious hands, but I'll leave that for the others to post. I think the only games I was +EV at were 7 card stud and Omaha 8/B. Anyways, I want to say the table ran for 4-5 hours. Non-stop drunken straddles every other hand. I will post the worst hand of the night, as I was just playing it for suckout value. I can't remember the action, or the exact positions and raises, so my apologies for screwing this up in advance. I end up capping a 4 way pot with 52 of hearts. The flop comes J72 or something like that. I never play limit, but I am pretty sure that all of the chips in the middle are giving me pot odds to see the turn. I think the turn brought another heart. I can't remember the action postflop, but I end up rivering 2 pair to suck out for a 80 or 90 dollar pot (maybe more, maybe less). Other highlights include DCHZ and myself side-betting the color of the flop, and side-bets on who would take down certain pots. Anyways, I proceed to play donktasticly and end up winning +180, or about 9bb per hour. Sustainable LDO.

DCHZ and myself were considering moving to the 4/8 Omaha 8/b half/kill game w/ the dinosaurs. We decided it was really late and had enough poker for the night.

I had an awesome time meeting all of you guys, and honestly I can't wait to meet up and do it again in the near future. .

i am even for the trip, after all this, i am only up in all moneys because i played online for a half hour at the hotel room

i am considering taking a break from live poker... like for... ever...

but i also decided i hate casinos and all the live degens, and much prefer online poker even though the games are tougher

but i definitely had the most fun at the 2/4 HORSE table, it was LOL

not much time to post, but i would also like to mention we paged numerous 2p2 celebrities at the poker room: Brandi Hawbaker, Orlando Salazar, Rick Astley, Scary_Tiger, and almost paged Grimstarr to the ATM because he's busto

more to come later

Yeah you're right

I was looking at error codes on an auto-website. It said its either the ATX fluids need changing or transmission. The transmission on Contours and Taurus' are capped in plastic, so yeah they have a tendancy to crap out at 100k+ miles, which sucks.

To get a new transmission 2k+ or get another used car? I am leaning towards the latter of the two.
