I think its really because I don't post OOT/BBV type stuff anymore, I stopped last year because it was getting in the way of playing poker so in some peoples eyes (mostly those who spend more time in the fun forums) I am not as fun as I used to be. Oh well... its a reasonable trade off in my eyes. But I swear I am just as power trippy as before

I don't think we need a seperate forums for individual gambling destinations, but this does bring up a pet peeve of mine about these forums.

My favorite threads to read are gambling trip reports. However, it seems like these trips reports are posted in many different forums, some of which I read frequently, and some of which I don't, including: B&M, BBV4L, El Diablo, Travel, MTTC, and Tournament Circuit. It seems like frequently the only reason they are posted in one forum rather than the other is that the poster identifies one particular place as his "home forum" and not because of the content of the report.

As a result, I feel like I am missing good trip reports when I don't constantly follow all of these forums. I personally feel like a trip report forum would be a great addition, even if it was just reposting of trip reports from other forums.

Nick,

This has been covered in the past. Use search function.

I still think my idea of a correctly used Best Of page where stuff like trip reports are linked up would be a good idea but its extra work and its work that most dont really want to do.

That would be sweet if there was an easy to use system set up to rate threads. A forum that is automatically populated with the day, the week, the month, or even the year's highest rated threads would be cool.

Surely the travel forum could serve this purpose well.

If anything we need a Thailand forum so all those expat freaks can post pictures of those sweet girls with 4 teeth who banged them for 30 bales of hay or something.
