Default 200nl - What is the correct flop raise size and why?

Reads / History: Pf raiser is unknown - new to the table. SB is fishy – LPAS and gets tied onto marginal hands. UTG is LPAS. I have a somewhat TAGish image.

How much should I raise here and why?
Thanks

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

$18-24. You want to make approx. a pot size raise here. This is a draw heavy board, and you are currently way ahead. You want to charge big to see the turn.

edited for bet size

yes that is correct, you want to bet the size of the pot. The reason is that you want to make it incorrect for your opponent to draw in this situation, and you have flopped a set so you want to play a big pot (big hand big pot). Basically thought the raise is to make it -EV for your opponent to call the raise. You accually want your opponent to call and chase his draw when you bet the pot size not only because of your set, but because his call is -EV.

A lot . Seriously, just don't raise small, anything above 24 sounds good

Better to bet too much here and fold everyone out than bet too little with 2 players to act behind you plus the donkbettor. I'd pot it and wouldn't fault anyone for betting a little more than pot for a couple of reasons.

1) As noted by everyone above, this board is HUGELY draw heavy. Its possible for 2 or even all 3 of the others to have nice drawing hands. If they all were to call your raise, by the time the SB acts he'll be getting close to proper pot odds to call, and certainly nice implied odds with something like a nut flush draw.

2) Its also a board that could have hit somebody hard. AQ, KQ, or QJ just made very nice hands that might shove on you, not to mention AA or KK if that unknown preflop minraiser is really bad.
