Anyone interested in a sweet part time job?
So for the past year, I've been UCLA's Microsoft Student Partner, and for the upcoming school year, many schools (like 200 colleges) are accepting applications for the next year.
So Student Partners are split up into two groups, Marketing and Tech I was the Marketing Partner for my school. I planned the Vista and Office 2007 launch for the school, promoted the Imagine Cup (programming contest), as well as a promotion for Gateway. This is a pretty sweet job because of the compensation. I got: -1500 cash -Gateway Tablet PC (was 1500 value when i got it) -Palm Treo 700wx + Unlimited phone service for 12 months -Free vista ultimate, office ultimate -a million pens, bottles, backpacks, etc - You also have the chance to win X360's and other stuff with good work. SO I wanted 2p2 to be in on this program because it is really cool. After you're done with the program, you're eligible for exclusive Microsoft Internships and Jobs. If you're interested, go to www.student-partners.com and go on the right where it says "select your region/clicky" and select US and apply. I hope this helps out a few 2p2ers get jobs/money (incoming sophs/juniors only) |

Re: Anyone interested in a sweet part time job?
you're supposed to work 8hr/wk, but its more about how many hours per project.
I probably worked 50 hours total this year |
