To Scallop, why does AK bet this river? Trying to get a crying call from Axc? He wouldn't check fearing a 7, he would check to induce a bluff from missed clubs, or a middle pair trying to scare away a higher pair.

If he had AK, and had double barrelled with Air on two streets, and then made his pair of Aces, why would AK not bet the river?

Now, I wouldn't be the river very often with AK, because obviously my hand now has some showdown value and I can stop bluffing, however - If I am an aggressive player, who has double barrelled AK, I am thinking my hand is good on the river because my opponent did not raise the turn. If my opponent does not raise the turn I assume he either has a club draw, a poorly played set, or an overpair. Seeing as you cannot beat any overpairs, AK could very well be good.
